Arrests made in theft cases

By Leslie N. Dees

Attala County Sheriff William Lee said three men have been charged with breaking and entering.

Cory Cagle, 26, of Kosciusko, Edwin Hightower, 23, of Durant, and William Aull, 35, of Florida, have been charged in the theft that occurred at Al Chadick’s hunting camp on Attala County Road 4101 on June 22.

Items taken were a 60-inch television, VCR, tools, a deer stand and hunting clothes.

In a separate case, Lee said Cagle and Hightower have been charged in the June 15 theft of guns, a television and air compressor at Ben Dodd’s home on Highway 440.

Lee said Cagle has also been wanted for a parole violation.
