Breaking News:  Man to serve two years in child abuse case  March 15, 2010 12:04 pm

The wait is over: Attala County School teachers, staff hired

During a special called board meeting this morning, the Attala County School Board hired faculty and staff at all four schools for the quickly approaching school year.

The teachers and staff have been anxiously waiting for their contracts since April but the board wanted to wait until a state budget was set by the Legislature.

The Legislature went back into a special session on Sunday.
