Two Kosciusko juveniles were apprehended by the Kosciusko Police Department Tuesday afternoon for a taking a woman’s purse and are now in the state detention center in Greenwood, Police Chief R.J. Adams said.
After obtaining information from the victim at Wal-Mart on Veterans Memorial Drive, officers also obtained a copy of Wal-Mart's surveillance video detailing the crime, Adams said.
Adams said the vehicle used in the crime was located shortly after the incident on Tipton Street, where the driver was taken into custody and the vehicle was searched.
Upon further investigation, KPD located the second juvenile.
The purse was returned to the victim.
Officers involved were Robert Land, Danny Groves, Michael Henson, Chris Busbea, Curtis Pope and Pete Belk.
