The Kosciusko Police Department reports the following arrests:

On Sunday, Charles Lewis, 45, of Sallis, was charged with speeding and suspended driver’s license on Highway 12 West by Cpl. Danny Groves.

Also on Sunday, Quindell Griffin, 18, of Carthage, was arrested for first offense shoplifting at Wal-Mart by Officer Michael Henson and Tabitha McGee, 38, of Goodman, was charged with contempt of court and theft of utilities by Officer Joseph Fulton.

On Saturday, Jeremy Chestnut, 22, of Kosciusko, was arrested for suspended driver’s license and resisting arrest by Danny Groves.

Other arrests made on Saturday are Chetara Stribling, 21, of Kosciusko, suspended driver’s license on East North Street by Sgt. Chris Busbea; Allen Manning, 42, of Kosciusko, suspended driver’s license on North Jackson Street by Groves; Leotha Foster, 48, of Kosciusko, suspended driver’s license on North Natchez Street by Henson.

On Friday, Melvin Cook, 57, of Kosciusko, was charged with suspended driver’s license on West Jefferson Street by Henson.

Other arrests on Friday were Ronnie Terry, 55, of Kosciusko, no driver’s license on West Jefferson Street by Groves; Lakeith Covington, 27, of Kosciusko, petit larceny by Officer Joseph Fulton and Cynthia Rice, 43, of Harrisville, shoplifting felony at Wal-Mart by Officer Huey Curry.

On Thursday, May 1, Corinthian Roberson, 33, of Kosciusko, was charged with improper equipment, no driver’s license on Fenwick Street by Cpl. Dirk Thayer

Also on Thursday, May 1, Thatis Baldwin, 31, of Weir, was charged with suspended driver’s license on Highway 12 West by Officer Stan Beall; Lamar Williams, 32, of Belzoni, was arrested for DUI first offense on Highway 12 by Jones; and Hilton Brown, 19, of Durant, was charged with no driver’s license, switched tag, no insurance and possession of paraphernalia on Highway 12 West by Sgt. Herbert Dew.
