Police log several arrests over six days

The Kosciusko Police Department reports the following arrests:

On Sunday, Tracy Gaston, 41, of Kosciusko, was charged with suspended driver’s license and DUI second offense on Highway 12 West by Officer Robert Land.

On Saturday, those arrested were Jose Galvan, 26, of Kosciusko, no driver’s license, no insurance, failure to yield on Highway 12 West by Cpl. Thomas Clark; Antwon Johnson, 35, of Kosciusko, contempt of court by Clark; Jasper Irwin, 25, of Louisville, no driver’s license and no insurance on West Jefferson Street by Cpl. Danny Groves; and Harry Brown, 44, of McAdams, no driver’s license, no insurance and DUI first offense on the Highway 35 Bypass by Land.

On Thursday, April 17, Hermelinda Garcia, 35, of Kosciusko, was charged with open container on Highway 12 by Cpl. Dirk Thayer.

On Wednesday, April 16, Zachary Cole, 41, of Meridian, was charged with speeding and suspended driver’s license on Highway 35 Bypass by Mark Hill.

Others arrested on April 16 are Mary Miller, 40, of Kosciusko, suspended driver’s license on West South Street by Officer Huey Curry; Ramona Campbell, 29, of Kosciusko, reckless driving and disorderly conduct at Kosciusko Lower Elementary School (warrants) by Officer Adam Jones; Chaketta Lee, 27, of Lexington, suspended driver’s license, no tag, no insurance on Highway 12 by Sgt. Herbert Dew; Willie Keys, 27, of Kosciusko, suspended driver’s license on Highway 35 North by Sgt. Chris Busbea; and Michelle Terry, 21, of Winona, no driver;s license on Highway 35 by Land.

Tuesday, April 15, Jan Overstreet, 53, of Kosciusko, was charged with contempt of court on Jefferson Street by Officer Joseph Fulton and Deshun Thomas, 28, of Durant, no driver’s license on Love Road by Cpl. Thomas Clark.
