Andy D. Martin is the author of “Down @ 12”, a suspenseful story of Dan Brown’s journey after being accused and convicted of murder. The title indicates that a death row inmate will be executed at midnight.
Martin’s first book details Dan’s visit to a convenience store which has been robbed and the clerk murdered. Police arrive and he is accused of killing the store clerk.
At his trial, no one can dispute the fact that his car was at the crime scene the night of the murder. Following his trial, the jury finds him guilty despite his appeal that he is innocent of the murder. He goes to prison sentenced to die by lethal injection.
All his appeals are rejected. In the final chapters, Martin details the execution and events that unfold involving the prison warden and circumstances involving the telephone call ordering of a execution by the governor.
Martin, involved in radio broadcasting for a number of years, is a Kosciusko resident. He and his wife Debbie have two sons.
“Down @ 12” is now available at Barnes and Noble Bookstore, online worldwide at www.bn.com or www.amazon.com.
Date for a book signing library fundraiser will be announced.
