May Fest: The Town of French Camp held its first Fest Saturday

— Blue skies and cool temperatures partly attributed to the success of Saturday’s May Fest held on the grounds surrounding the French CampTown Hall.
Approximately $1,700 was raised from a variety of events. Food was sold throughout the day and a number of vendors offered their wares.
Several inflatables and pony rides offered fun for the children.
Winners of give-aways were Ora Belle Thompson, $50 Wal-Mart gift card; Suzanne Story, $100 Wal-Mart gift card; $150 savings bond, Dennis Moen.
The event was coordinated by FC Mayor Glenn Barlow and Town Clerk Shawna Grice.
