Horne-Guidry vows planned at Parkway

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth T. Horne of Kosciusko announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Marie Horne, to Ryan Anthony Guidry, also of Kosciusko, formerly of Lake Arthur, La. He is the son of Mr. Brad A. Guidry of Lake Arthur, La., and Ms. Gina Cain of Lake Charles, La.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth O’Briant and the late Mr. Edwin O’Briant; Mrs. Helen T. Horne and the late Mr. Billie B. Horne, all of Kosciusko.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Norma Cain of Lake Charles, and the late Mr. Curtis Cain of Lake Arthur, and Mr. and Mrs. Whavel Guidry also of Lake Arthur.

Miss Horne is a graduate of Kosciusko High School and attended Holmes Community College. She is presently employed with Merchants and Farmers Bank in Kosciusko.

Ryan attended school in Kosciusko and graduated in Louisiana. He is presently employed with Nabors Drilling of Houston, Texas.

The couple will exchange vows on Aug. 2, 2008 at 6 p.m. in a private ceremony at Parkway Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the home of the bride’s sister.
