Derrick-Bennett wedding planned for June 7

Mrs. Arthur A. Derrick III announces the engagement of her daughter, Allison Virginia Derrick, to Kristopher Zane Bennett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Roy Bennett Jr., all of Kosciusko. Miss Derrick is also the daughter of the late Arthur A. Derrick III.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Herndon B. Powers Jr. of Goodman and the late Mr. Powers, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Arthur A. Derrick Jr. of Durant.

Miss Derrick is a graduate of Kosciusko High School and the University of Mississippi, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is currently enrolled in the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Culpepper of Kosciusko and the late Percy Zane Culpepper of Sallis, and Mr. and Mrs. Willie Roy Bennett Sr. of Kosciusko.

He is a graduate of Kosciusko High School and the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is currently employed in sales.

The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m. on June 7, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Kosciusko. A reception will follow at the church. No local invitations are being sent. All family and friends are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
