Whippets fall in playoffs

The Kosciusko Whippets were eliminated from the Class 4A playoffs Tuesday night after a game 3 loss to Houston.

Kosciusko led late in the game until the Hilltoppers scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to earn the 4-3 win.

Houston was up 2-0 after three innings, but Kosciusko bounced back with three runs in the fourth to take the lead. 

Houston now moves on to play West Lauderdale in the north division of the playoffs.
