Kosy residents helping with Louisville tornado relief

Donations for victims of the tornado that hit Winston County are already coming in at a tractor-trailer set up on Highway 12 in Kosciusko. James Phillips/The Star-Herald

A group of Kosciusko residents is working to provide relief to citizens in Louisville who have been affected by the tornado that destroyed areas of that city on Monday afternoon.

At least six people have been confirmed dead from the tornado in Winston County. Many homes were completely destroyed, and supplies are being requested by disaster relief workers.

Beth Maness, an employee at Sta-Home Health and Hospice in Kosciusko, is helping to organize the local supply drive.
