Food drive a success

Nancy Green/The Star-Herald

In response to the Letter Carriers’ Food Drive on Saturday, May 10, approximately 125 bags of canned food were collected for Helping Hands on rural and city routes of the Kosciusko Post Office. Carriers said this was the best collection they have made since they began the food drive in 2001. Postmaster Kendall Leforge (left) and postal personnel Kenny Jones, Vernon Skelton, Robert McGuire, Della Winters and Christy McKinnon show the collection. They expressed appreciation to those who donated giving their support for Helping Hands Ministry.
