Congregations from churches of the Kosciusko-Williamsville Ministerial Association will meet for the annual Community Thanksgiving service Sunday, Nov. 22, at 6 p.m. at the Kosciusko High School Commons.
Speaker for the service will be Rev. Junior Davis, pastor of Williamsville Baptist Church. A program of music is being coordinated by Ms. Stephanie Holmes of the First United Methodist Church.
Participants in the service will have the opportunity to make a love offering which will be divided equally among the LEAP Center, Helping Hands Ministries, and the Oprah Winfrey Boys and Girls Club.
Those not attending the service but who would like to contribute to the three ministries benefiting from the offering, may mail donations to Rev. Don Cook, Pastor of Parkway Baptist Church, P.O. Box 579, Kosciusko MS 39090. Checks should be made payable to Kosciusko-Williamsville Ministerial Association, marked “Thanksgiving Service.”
