Career/College Day planned

Special to The Star Herald

On Oct. 15, the school districts of Attala County and Kosciusko City Schools will host a CAREER/COLLEGE DAY for Juniors and Seniors at the Oprah Winfrey Boys and Girls Club in Kosciusko, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Students will be bused from their respective school sites to meet with local and statewide representatives from a variety of colleges, universities, businesses, and industries.

Prospective students will take advantage of this special time to ask representatives questions and to gain needed information about furthering their educational opportunities and job possibilities.

If any businesses or industries would like to participate in Career/College Day, contact the school’s counselors: Pacey Regan at the Kosciusko High School at 289-6145, Selena Schuster at Ethel High School at 674-5673, Thelma Carr at McAdams High School at 289-3838, or Tracy Burnley at the Kosciusko-Attala Vocational Center at 289-2689.
