Beauty and Beast puppet show at B&G Club set for Sept. 20

The Oprah Winfrey Boys and Girls Club and The National Educational Theatre will kick off their fundraising season with two exciting performances of “Beauty and The Beast” on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 3 and 7 p.m. at the club on 500 Knox Road in Kosciusko.

These lifelike puppets take the audience into the enchanting world of a Disney classic.

Audiences will be transported away to a lovely old French town where the beautiful Belle lives with her father - an irrational inventor.

When her father doesn't return home from the local fair, Belle rushes off to find him. To her dismay, she discovers he is being held captive by a horrible beast in an old castle.

She trades her freedom for his and the "tales of adventure and romance" begin.
